Shows Tonight (Saturday) and Wednesday!

Hello there! I am blessed to have so many friends and so many of them are talented.

Tonight, Saturday, Jef Madnik and his band "BOXX" has asked me to perform with their super rockin' band at Downtown Joe's from 9:30 to 12:30a

Though it starts off acoustically with special guest performers (myself included), this promises to be a high energy show!!!!

On Wednesday: Singer-songwriter, Brooke Aved, all the way from Austin, TX and doing only ONE show at Downtown Joe's WITH ME while she's here! Brookie and I are sharing the stage once again after seemlingly forever. You must catch this talented girl she has been nicknamed "songbird" for a reason :)(Special thanks to Robert at Joe's and Singer-Songwriter Brian Cline for making this possible)

Finally, I wanted to share a special experience I had recently with the Relay For Life orginazion. I am sure you have heard about the wonderful work they do for people with cancer and their families. A few weeks ago I had the honor of singing at their Luminary ceremony in Vallejo. Here is the very touching video that came from that the Vallejo Times Herald put together. http://extras.timesheraldonline.com/galleries/2009/080309_relay/

Best Wishes and be well!

PRESS CLIPPINGS

"Super talented. Catch her while you can before a ticket to her show is 50 bucks." Rich Freedman, Vallejo Times-Herald

"We hear tastes of a New York musical village…and Merchant . The music breathes…A dichotomy exists….storyteller appeal …Her intimate treatment reveals a vocal maturity. Nonchalant Rickie Lee Jones' approach to loose & spontaneous performance. Well done and we look forward to more." earBuzz.com

"style is blues-based pop w/ rock edges that sometimes echoes the work of Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, & perhaps Melissa Etheridge. Meanwhile, the smoky, late-night "Chaotic Sanctity" suggests it's a song that Norah Jones could take a crack at. Estrada's own voice is an appealing instrument." Vol. XXIX - , Music Connection Magazine - CD Review
